In week
5, we were taught the tools and gadgets of Windows 7 that are worth to use by
personal home users and small businesses, the reason why and how Microsoft keep
pace with the current and future needs and trends of technology in providing
the appropriate OS interface and evolution and progressive development of
Windows operating systems.
Firstly, our lecturer simply told us the history about Microsoft Operating Systems. He also gave us the clear understanding of Microsoft windows. Because nowadays, most of us are using windows 7, so the topic also focused on this new operating system. We learned the aim and upgrades of windows 7. There are huge improvement from windows XP such as new start icon, aero snap, Shake and peek, desktop icons like “Computer” and “My Documents” are removed and accessed through the Start Menu and larger icons and hidden icons in the taskbar and so on.
